graceful and brassy
January 18, 2009

I found these two little brass swans in a local thrift store for a steal.

They sit on my desk and perpetually ask for bread crumbs.

At least they aren’t geese. Geese are scary bastards.

Tyler (my Mr. Man) saw the photos and said that they used to have the same brass geese growing up. They lived on a military base at the end of a runway, and the little swans used to clink together and then fall on the ground each time a plane would take off. He remembers picking them up and putting them back on the shelf constantly. Ah, memories.
